Colts coach Paul Brown says he’s “no excuses” if the Colts’ final three possessions in Sunday’s 41-10 loss to the Browns weren’t “the right ones.”
Brown said the Colts were forced to call a timeout after quarterback Matt Hasselbeck fumbled and the ball was picked off by Cleveland receiver Terrance West.
Hasselbeards last-second interception in the third quarter was the first of his career.
The Colts are 7-3 when getting turnovers.
They’ll have a chance to get back in it Sunday night at Cincinnati.
The Bengals have won six of their last eight.
Brown said he expects to have more time to prepare Sunday and hopes to get a full report from the league office.
The NFL’s executive vice president of officiating, Dean Blandino, was unavailable for comment.
Browns quarterback Matt Stafford has been sacked six times this season, including twice in a row by Hasselberger.
